Charles Scott Cornwell — author of The Bell

Charles Scott Cornwell is a creator and author whose work explores the timeless themes of family, faith, and the quiet miracles that shape our lives often noticed through the simple act of being present.

The Bell began as a simple idea when Scott was volunteering one cold day in Minnesota while at The Mall of America.   He wanted to help convey a powerful truth to his young daughters around how bell ringing changed lives.   There Bella was born.

Scott published the first version of this book in 2010 where he was able to share this story at family conferences, faith based settings, book readings and forums.   Recently, Scott took the published version of The Bell and has created a short movie where the book is animated and narrated and music to add depth and meaning to the experience. This story for Scott is not just about a children's book or movie, for him it is offering those that engage with the media an opportunity to reflect on their own experiences of when someone saw more potential in them than they could see alone.

Scott spends his days working and coaching executive leaders globally on their effectiveness in their organizations.   When he isn't writing or coaching, you'll most likely find him walking the beach with his wife, playing on the golf course or swimming in the waters of the Lowcountry.

Every story I tell is really the same story — that love shows up, even when we least expect it.
